Product Roadmap
Our development trajectory is focused on compliance, interoperability, and specific high-impact sectors. UniMe is developed completely open-source and without a direct model for generating revenue. Impierce Technologies is commited to further developing UniMe and certifying it as an official EUDI wallet. However, we can't make any promises on the timelines nor priorities. If you wish to have another functionality or requirement be implemented in UniMe, feel free to contribute it or reach out directly to Impierce Technologies for technical support.
eIDAS 2.0 Alignment
UniMe is being actively developed to comply with the eIDAS 2.0 Regulation. Our goal is to achieve certification as a recognized EUDI Wallet, ensuring valid cross-border usage across all EU member states by 2027, depending on the maturity of the certification process at the time.
Strategic Focus: Lifelong Learning
While sector-agnostic, our primary innovation drive is in Lifelong Learning and Skills-based hiring. We are prioritizing features that support:
- European Learner Model (ELM) compatibility.
- Comprehensive Learner Records (CLR).
- Sharing Credentials on LinkedIn / Socials, with a Publicly Verifiable Link This focus aims to make skills portable and instantly verifiable for the Workforce and Education sectors.
Upcoming Standards
- ISO 18013-5 (mdoc): We are currently implementing support for the mobile driving license standard to enable offline, proximity-based verification flows (e.g., via Bluetooth/NFC) alongside our existing OpenID4VC stack.
